Dick Durbin is a Rapist

It’s not unusual to believe that my very own Illinois senator, Dick Durbin, felt that a town hall meeting to discuss Obama’s health care plan was not necessary, believing that having these meetings was a waste of time:

“The people who are showing up at these town meetings are not looking for dialogue. They’re looking for diatribe. I don’t think that’s a productive use of my time.”

Who does he think he is? A political figure that was elected by the people and for the people. His belief that WE, the Illinois people, is a waste of his time defies everything about the governmental workings here in America. And because of his action, I consider Durbin a “rapist” to the democratic process in America.

durbinSenator Dick Durbin savagely took hold of our beloved Liberty, raping her in front of our eyes, and taking the democracy she cherished dearly for us, with a malevolent smirk. His actions reverts back to King George and his behavior toward our Founding Fathers during those early days in England. As we all know too well, our America was formed because of the repression from an arrogant King. Durbin is is no different than King George.

Apparently, Durbin believes we are still living in the past. More specifically, the events that lead up to the American Revolution. Except that Durbin would never class himself on the side of the revolutionaries. He was more in favor with King George and the nobility.

Not a productive use of his time, huh? What does Senator Durbin, or should I call him “Lord Durbin” since that is how he portrays himself to be, consider as productive usage? Hanging out with other arrogant elitists, kissing their rear ends to get his way; too good to hang out with us peasants? Maybe Lord Durbin just wants us to agree with everything he passes our way. To Lord Durbin, he is the only one that knows whats best for us. It would make his life a whole lot easier as a politician. He can rake in our taxpaying dollars toward his salary while he dictates how we should live our lives. Depriving our liberties would make his life gratifying.

On the most important piece of legislation in our generation, Lord Durbin believes he knows what’s best for us. Our lordship has already precluded that “King Obama’s” health care plan is a good one, and prefers to sit around all day, drinking small cups of tea with the rest of the nobility (other elected officials), never minding how Illinois constituents feel about the health care proposal. We are that important to him:

“We can not bring our budget deficit under control until we control health care costs. We know that in Washington. The president knows it. So does certain families and businesses across Illinois . . . You know there are groups that are oppose to any change. They want to keep the current system. Many of them are making a fortune off of the current system like the health insurance companies. They’re sending out their people to raise complaints and try to come to town meetings and disrupt them.”

I would like to know how he came to the conclusion that bringing down a massive deficit will be the result of controlling health care costs. Since any unpaid medical debts are distributed among health care policy holders, where did Lord Durbin get the idea that it somehow relates to the deficit. Here is a hint from a commoner to bring down the deficit – STOP SPENDING OUR MONEY! It’s that simple. There is no question why our books are in the red. We have politicians who are completely clueless of why we are in debt.

And his comment about health insurance companies disrupting town hall meetings. Give me a break. This is the problem with elected officials who have held their position too long. They start believing they are protected if they stay within their tiny circle where they are immune against us peasants.

Sad to say, their tactics did work on the middle class for a little while. We went along with whatever wacky ideas they had only because we wanted to be left alone. We concentrated with our own families, not caring what these political figures were doing behind closed doors. Yes, we were angry. But anger shortly passed, moving on with our lives and caring for our families.

Well, today is a new day in America. The majority in Illinois is done with his pompous attitude and come Election Day, Lord Durbin and many of his cronies will know about our power. It will become a new day in the republic. A shift in political viewpoint will occur. Democracy always triumph arrogance.

Enough of this lordship foolishness. Our forefathers fought long and hard to get rid of political heretics like Durbin. If Dick Durbin was alive in those days, they would have tarred and feathered him, parading him right out of town. It is time to take a stand against this imbecile, on behalf of our Founding Fathers and what they believed in. Of course such action as tarring and feathering is not necessary. The power of the majority and the election process, which Durbin’s is due in 2012, will do just fine.

Throughout America, the majority continues to fight back against the tyranny of these politicians. We will no longer stand idling while Senator Durbin attempts to throw his socialist ideas our way. We will stand firm to our belief that humankind was granted FREEWILL by our creator. Our forefathers knew this. The government works for us. We DO NOT work for them.

Senator Durbin has all the characteristics of being a Pecksniffian individual – deceptive, hypocritical, insincere, self-righteous, and my favorite, phony.

Senator Durbin has no place in politics. His long status in the senate has made him believe that he is above all of us in Illinois. He has become self-satisfied within his office and has taken a monarchial approach towards his constituents. He has crossed a dangerous line now with the defenders of Liberty. We will not tolerate this man laying waste on our freedoms.

Take note Illinoisans. If you vote for this narcissistic loon, I have only you to blame. This is NOT a democrat versus republican debate. This is not an issue between the far left and the far right. This has everything to do with representation, or lack of. This has to do with an arrogant elitist who does not want to be bothered with your needs, or your liberties for that matter. How anyone could cast a vote for him in 2012 is beyond my understanding. Its time to fight back America!

Well said Rob, but who can you replace him with in 2010? The problem is most people believe you are better off with seniority in DC. Another problem in Illinois is the Chicago machine (not the Cubs that is for another discussion). You will have to get virtually every single citizen in the rest of the state to out vote the living and dead voters in Chicago. If that were not a big enough obstacle, everyone else will have to vote for the same candidate.

So, you have to find a common candidate who can raise tons of money, and is supportive of pure constituional ideas. He or she needs to come out now and begin constructing a centralized message. Won’t you also have a special election regarding Burris? If so, Illinios has a great opportunity to help send a powerful message “If you work in DC, you are going home.”

Keep sending the emails to the Turd. I have sent several scathing emails to him and the last 2 I have at least gotten an email response. Here is his latest LAME response to my question asking him if he is planning on participating in OBAMACARE as he expects the rest of his “chattering minions” to join. KEEP THE HEAT ON….. This is most direct response to any of my emails. I think we are getting to him!!!!
By the way, I also “flagged” myself to White House (the Kremlin) and felt quite liberated after I did!!!

    Dear Friend:
Thank you for contacting me about the health plans available to other federal employees and me. I appreciate hearing from you.
Senators have the same health insurance options as other federal employees. The Federal Employees Health Benefits Program (FEHBP) offers a menu of health insurance plans, and federal employees can choose the plan that is best for them. Senators have the same choices and pay the same premiums and co-payments as any other federal employee.
I have been working to give all Americans a similar opportunity. Two years ago, I introduced legislation that offers small businesses the same range of choices available to me and other federal employees. President Obama has proposed to extend the choice of private health insurance plans to millions of individuals who have few options today.
Too many Americans cannot afford the health plans offered by today’s for-profit insurance companies. A public option will provide competition that will hold private plans accountable and help moderate the price of health insurance. No one will be forced to join a public option – it will be a voluntary choice available in addition to existing plans.
If health care reform gives Americans a chance to choose the public option, I believe federal employees also should be given that option. Since the public option is intended to be a voluntary choice, no one should be forced into it. Any federal employee who does not want to choose the public option should have the right to remain in the private plan of his or her choice.
Thank you again for contacting me. Please feel free to keep in touch.

    VOTE THEM ALL OUT!

    UPDATE:

I was surprised when Dick Durbin’s office wrote to me regarding to his position on the public health care plan. For months I have sent him numerous letters on various issues; this was the first I received. Apparently the email I sent him regarding this blog article got his attention.

Regardless of what the majority demands, Durbin will vote for the plan. This was not unexpected. So remember this when he is up for reelection. Pass this article to all your friends and relatives living in Illinois.

    Below is the email transmission:

    Dear Mr. Day:

Thank you for writing to express your concerns about health care reform. I appreciate hearing from you.

Millions of Americans face difficult choices between paying high premiums for health insurance coverage and meeting other basic needs of their families. Since 2000, health insurance premiums have gone up 73 percent. The high cost of insurance keeps dependable, quality health care coverage out of reach for many of Illinoisans. More than 46 million Americans are without health insurance today, including 8.5 million children, and millions of middle class families who do have coverage are one step away from losing it in this troubled economy.

We need reforms that give middle-class families the assurance of stable and secure coverage, stable and affordable costs, and better quality care. The reforms we are considering in Congress would help achieve these goals. We will put an end to discrimination based on preexisting conditions. Insurance companies will be prohibited from refusing you coverage, or dropping you, because of your medical history or because you get sick. There will be no annual or lifetime caps on the coverage you can receive if you need it, and no one will be charged more because of their gender.

To help keep costs manageable, insurance companies will have to abide by yearly caps on how much they can charge for out-of-pocket expenses. Basic preventive care, which can reduce costs in the long run, will be provided without charge. We are also working on reforms that will reduce costs for families, businesses, and the government by paying providers for the quality of the care they provide rather than the quantity.

If you like what you have today, you can keep it. But for the millions of Americans who have no security in today’s health care market, these are some of the key steps needed to fix what is broken while we protect what works. People who are uninsured or unsatisfied with their coverage will be able to choose a plan that better addresses their needs.

I believe most Americans share my commitment to these goals of health care reform. I will keep your concerns in mind as I work for an approach that provides secure and stable coverage, affordable costs, and better quality care.

Thank you again for contacting me. Please feel free to keep in touch.

    Sincerely,

    Richard J. Durbin
    United States Senator

There will be an Illinois Senate seat open when Roland Burris steps down in November. Please support Mark Kirk in his effort to win this seat. He ia a conservative Republican and endorsed by Congressman Shimkus who I support wholeheartedly.

I do like Mark Kirk but I have a very serious concern when he voted for the Cap and Trade bill. As a matter of fact, I was somewhat shocked. Do you know if he has regretted for doing that or does he still back up the bill?

And now we have Durbin voting to KEEP ACORN funding. But what really gets me is the fact that the SEC is NOT investigating his dubious stock trades last September 08 the very same day after his secret meeting with Bernake and then Sec. Paulson. Martha Stewart went to jail for way less. Oh, I get it. Holder is in the house so no cheats/criminals like Durbin, Rangel, Pelosi, will ever see the inside of a cell. This is such gross corruption, it truly reeks in the WH and Senate.
